Cuban Cohiba Siglo VI
Linea1492 - Siglo VIThe Cohiba Línea 1492 range was first announced at a reception at the Captain General's Palace in Havana on 4th November 1992, which took place during a Festival held to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the discovery of the New World by Christopher Columbus.
The Linea 1492, originally consisting of five sizes - Siglo I, II, III, IV and V before the VI was introduced in 2002, were expressly introduced to mark Columbus's 500th Anniversary and each Siglo (which means 'Century' in Spanish) commemorates one the five subsequent centuries.
The Linea 1492 is classified as medium flavoured and remains the lightest flavoured line of Cohibas.
Launched to commemorate 10 years of the Siglo range. This unusually big format cigar makes it possible to appreciate the aroma and taste of the Linea 1492 with complete intensity. A must try for any serious cigar aficionado.
"A tawny-hued toro with an excellent draw and even burn. Initial grassiness dissipates for a warmer, toasty smoke of cinnamon, nutmeg, liquorice and baking spices with a woody undertone..."
